Wheat Prices in Pakistan 2024 – Latest Wheat Rate

Pakistan has always been rich in producing ‘Wheat’ and other crops due to its productive and agricultural lands all over the country and Wheat prices in Pakistan depend on production and availability.

In Pakistan, Wheat Prices vary from district to district, and it’s different in its provinces.
The food department of the Pakistan government announce the minimum support price wheat price for the year 2022-2023 which is given as follows:

As mention in the table the wheat rate in Punjab Province: 3000Rs per 40Kg and in Sindh Province: 4000Rs per 40Kg which is approximately 54-60Rs per Kg inclusive of all taxes.
Its Prices and rates change every year by economic conditions and the annual budget schedule.

MSP of Wheat

Wheat procurement in 2022-23 has given a profit of 17.85 lacs to farmers with a market sale price value of 37,859.34 Crores the prices of “Kharif and rabi” cereals at which the grain was to be domestically procured by public agencies for release through PDS. It will usually announce soon after harvest began. Normally procurement price is lower than the open market price and higher than the MSP.

The Calculation rate of Wheat per kg

There are 1000 grams per kg so x grams is x/1000 kg and the price will be (x/1000)kg * r rupees/kg= xr/1000 rupees.

Buying Or Selling of Wheat

The trading of wheat works totally on a contract of difference (CFD) derivative instrument. These CFDs allow traders to speculate/observe wheat prices in Pakistan without purchasing ETFs. And shares the value of CFD is the difference between the purchase rate and the current rate.
