The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) Pakistan has increased low-pressure gas LPG gas prices. The OGRA’s latest monthly LPG gas rate per kg and cylinder rate in May 2023 have been adjusted. OGRA LPG Prices Change in Pakistan May 2023

According to OGRA, the price of LPG is Rs 277.8 per kg. As a result of these recent increments, one domestic cylinder of 11.8kg will be priced at Rs 3,278 – an increase in the previous price of 29 rupees and 56 paise.

The LPG gas rate in Pakistan for domestic LPG cylinders was Rs 2,572 in July. However, according to the Ogra notification, these new prices of LPG will be effective from (1st May).

When there is load shedding by SNGPL in the winter, people turn to natural gas as an alternative. Customers in Pakistan get their cylinders refilled at local market gas stations. It’s more expensive than Sui gas and has a lower pressure. LPG is also used as a car engine fuel.

LPG prices in Pakistan are constantly changing based on need and analysis by OGRA, the government organization responsible for managing these changes. A summary of new prices is created whenever there are international price changes, and this summary is then approved by the Pakistani government.
